Tim Brasfield

Tim was born and raised here in Beaumont, Texas. After graduating from Forest Park High School in 1980, he studied violin performance at Lamar University. Tim’s study of violin led him to be part of a number of local symphonies in the area – Beaumont, Alexandria, Lake Charles and Lafayette. Outside of mastering hair styling and color, Tim has rescued 2 dogs, is active with Pets in Transition, helps council local youth and was a personal trainer and Body Builder for 10 years. All of these activities and he still managed to make a career doing hair…

Tim’s background in hair goes back to 1991. In 1999 he earned his Master Stylist degree in Las Vegas. Since then, Tim’s studied under the Altieri brothers, taken master classes with Kim Vo, is certified in Keratin Smoothing Treatment, and enrolls in ongoing education every year. As a student of Kim Vo, Tim receives monthly insight of the newest trends and styles directly from Kim Vo.

As a client of Tim’s, you’ll receive personal one on one service and expert care. Tim’s honest and has a passion for hair and beauty that’s translated through his work. Tim works with salon exclusive products such as Kevin Murphy’s Color Proof, AlphaParf, and Moroccan Oil. Certified in Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatments and experienced in women and men’s haircuts, plus 10 years’ experience with Hotheads Hair Extensions.
